Mike Golding

Christa is the Office Administrator for Walters Financial Group. Prior to joining the WFG family, she spent 12 years as a homemaker and stay-at-home mom.

Christa grew in Linden, MI and graduated from Linden High School in 2002 where she was a student of Nancy Walters and cheered for Nancy on Linden's State Championship cheer squad. Christa and her husband Keith have been together for 20 years and married for 13. They make their home in Lake Fenton with their two kids Zoey and Aiden.  She spends her free time attending her kid's sporting events including All-Star Cheer, Grymnastics, & Soccer.

Mike has been a loyal client of Walters Financial Group for over 20 years. Before joining the family-business in 2007, he worked in the residential building industry in Oakland County for 27 years, starting as a general laborer and working his way up to Purchasing Manager.

Mike specializes in new business administration, as well as customer service for securities and life insurance clients. Mike graduated High School in 1972, Oakland Community College in 1979 with an associate degree in Business Administration, and Walsh College in 1981 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. 

Mike’s wife, Marilynn, was a teacher in the Clarkston School district for 36 years, prior to retiring in 2010. He is the proud father of Andrew and Jeffrey, both graduates of MSU. He is an avid fan of Detroit sports teams and enjoys golfing with friends and family.
